Cork International Choral Festival.

a recap on the Ireland, cork trip.
27th April;
the haze cleared; we flew there.
we practiced; we got depressed.
we didnt give up; we competed.
we sang our best on stage; we made the song alive.
next day, results day.
we held each others hands waiting, anticipating, hoping.
it wasn't what we wanted. but it was the best we would've been.
5th position with a 89.67%
i started tearing, unsure if it were for joy or for disappointment.
i tried controlling my tears, knowing it would been interpreted as disappointment.
ms lim's "I'm really proud of all of you, you all have done well." made the tears uncontrollable.
it was really really great hearing her praises; it made all efforts worthwhile.
thank you for making my choir journey such a fulfilling one, it was the first and probably the last life-changing experience i'll have from school.
i'm not afraid that the memories of this trip will fade away, it is forever etched in me.

sometimes i laugh at my ignorance. why am i that blind to not have seen your true self. okay. maybe that wasnt your true self or whatever. anyway, i've gotten over it and im not going to harp on it anymore.
its a really good feeling to let things go. the suppressing feeling is gone, momentarily. guess it'll be back but i will have a better control over myself.

for now, i'm going to feel the song truly as though i've written it or as though im the person in the story. i think these emotions will come in handy anyway, being able to put all of these into the song suitably.
we're going to fight. we're going to win. why? because we're NJChoir!

went to the NATAS fair today. Haha. 'dilly-dallied' at the taiwan booth for super long :D i love taiwan! yay. haha really lor.
then there was this magic performance by a guy called oscar. they even promoted him as some guy that went onto 钻石夜总会to 变魔术. actually his magic okok only lah. HAHA. kidding.

the admission into the expo hall need to buy 'ticket' one.
its like a strip to wear on the wrist. yeah. a bit like go hospital stay lidddat.

NJChorale concert after choir today!

they were really good! as in a choir of that size and they sound so holyyy. the girls were so cute when they sang lollipop and the ol' john song was so cuteee. dramatic members man.

the Mr men and little miss handphone strap thingy. cute right. got new addition now. miss shy and another one forgot the name. haha. I want mr bump (or bumpy!) anyone have? i wannnntt.

no choir today. left school at around 4 plus and headed over to ps with zhongjie to get my nail polish remover. guess what! we met samantha and leyi in the toilet over there!! damn qiao. anyway, left ps after getting the remover cause zj had piano @ 7 then met mummy at jp.

030709 Friday

cts were finally over with physics ending with not such a bad note as chemistry. hehe.
went to tanglin mall there to collect my new specs then headed over to cineleisure for

ICE AGE 3!~

sadly, i was forced to watch it in 3D which was a total waste of money $$ again, but it wasnt as bad as Monsters Vs Aliens. its quite funnny and everything yeap. :D
after movie, went to orchard central, the new shopping centre and did window shopping. hahas.
cause we wanted to look at every single new shop. yeah. but alot of shops werent open.
met up with my parents after that at taka, then ate at centrepoint.

attended a GP content crash course at NLB lvl 5 imagination room again..
it was really good in a sense that mr tong taught alot of content and said a lot of inspirational stuff and other issues that i would never have known. eg like the sacrifice made in obtaining diamonds. Zhongjie even commented that she's not gonna get a diamond in future!
but of course it was like attending some boring lecture in school again and i almost dozed off at certain parts. hehe. guilty. but of course it was really worth the money :D

it ended at around 6 then went to bugis junction with zj to look at a roadshow that sold hair bands. zj left with her parents then my parents came and we ate at swensens! dilly dally-ed at bugis and then went home to my tablet.

did a very lame thing just now. i took the HOT pizzahut sticker and put it under the sun. so the letters H O T appeared.

hahas. that red red background is silky's bed which my mum put under the sun rays that came into my room. cools shitz right. i thought the sticker wouldnt work anymore! :D its stickin behind my iPhone now. hope my phone gets abit hot after i use it later. i really wanna see it turn HOT again.

my mummy drew it when she was helping me with the letter for CHC. hehe. nice right! it looks so much nicer than any other njc's logo :D

spent the whole day rotting. only the first part of the day was like constructive. had piano lesson at 11. HAIZ. guess im not gonna have much faith in my exam again. :( rotted till 3 then mummy came home and continued decompose. facebook-ing, blogger-ing, youtube-ing. editted my youtube's user background look and blog's styleee. hehe. youtube rocks cause it helped me a lot in the blog's template. love my blog's look. both held at east coast park! but the mega diff was the choir bbq pit was at area C while 09Sh21's bbq pit was at area F. AND i was super drained after the choir bbq but was okok after the 09SH21 bbq. hehe. nevertheless, both bbq were fun fun fun and we really bonded as a choir and a class.

its been like 9 days since hols officially started but yea. its so hard not to think about the cts waiting for me when hols end D: still, im gonna look to the positive side that theres 20 more days to study. heh. dont care lah. i cant wait for the kbox tmr -> the 3 musketeers date!

im starting to like nj for things like this. hahas. this 2 weeks are gonna be soo great! we've lectures only in the afternoon for this week and next week we almost dont have to go back to school at all! all because of the ISSF and SISC thingy. yaye! its sucha great feeling staying at home and think that all your other friends are going to sch early in the morning! :D hahas. okok. like very mean like that. err.. anyway. i've got to get ready to go to school too. hahas. lecture starts at 1.30! =))

The first day since i dunno when that i went out to catch a movie or something.

watched 17 again at cineleisure with jiaying, vivien, candice, kenneth, cassandra, beatrice. jane and shakti joined for dinner then left before the movie to go rj to ogle at guys(at least thats what they told me!).
pw endeed at 4 plus then left for cine with v and co. met candice and co. at cine. gave that sell tickets person(i dunno what shes called) a lotta trouble with all the neBo card and stuff. movie ended at like 9.12 or something then we walked around taka and orchard until like 10 plus. thats when we kena chased out of taka by the security guard. kenneth was like saying he's never stayed in taka till kana chased out. haha.actually me too! left for home after that.. camwhore-ed on the train with v and jy. bet all of the commuters thought we're like bad students or something. it was like 10.40 plus then we were still in uniform and out. ah-lians. tried to take group photo of 3 like million of times but think v's phone to kana sai small to fit all of us. esp me. :(( nevertheless, great day! yaye. love yall. meet up again jy and candice:)

Its countdown to 4 days 2 practices to syf. we're all feeling so up and down this entire week. i've been having practices everyday since monday, but seriously, i dont mind :) i do want us to do well. stresss stressss coming from everywhere! cca groups are both doing well and not doing well. its scaryy! we'll progress up through the levels of ms lim though!!! <3>

and thats not not true anw, nj's killing me. im up to my neck on weekdays with cca and piano AND homework its suffocating. i've been wondering, if, iF i didnt join such a hiong cca, would i be super free everyday that i can almost afford to go out shopping everyday after lessons? ohmygosh. that would be wonderful lor. but i also know that i have a strong passion for choir. why is it making me lose interest. if i was in ____, i think i'll be so much happier in cca. haiz.

its been quite a while since i've been blogging so here's an update on events.

im officially a NJCian. hahas. weird name, i know xD
like vivien, i sort of felt like appealing into sa after knowing that im in Nj but after discussing with my parents, i know its impossible to get their permission in that matter. on the other hand, i'm sort of happy that i got into Nj cause zhongjie and vivien's there too. at least i'm not alone. :)

i woke up at 1pm plus in the afternoon! hahas. sc called me a pig. cause she did a lot of stuff already eg. babysitting her nephew and attending her friend's bday party. hehe. but i really need to recharge mah! thats why i slept for soooo long. =)

btw, i finally got to watch bedtime stories! =) super funny and nice. lurve it! =DD
it screened at 9.35pm at jp and ended somewhat like 11plus cause of all the commercials gv show. then i was shocked to find out that at 11plus, jp still has quite a lot of poeple walking around there. maybe its because of the 24hr supermarket there. yepp. hahaas. idk idk.

after the jap buffet at bukit timah, went for karaoke with my parent's colleagues. it was at the liang court party world. yep. the main point was that : i went alone with them. my parents didnt join me! guess what? i reached home at 2.30am that day. XD i mean nobody would ever imagine me out at karaoke at such a timing without my parents. =D hahas. yaye. but i really gotta thank my parents colleagues for persuading them to let me go. happy!~

Continuing my movie marathon... =)

Twilight at Lot 1 with vivien today.

wanted to watch at jp at first, but vivien said that sneaks in gv costs a hefty 10 bucks! so we decided to go to lot 1 cause there got student price somemore=)) actually twilight wasnt really up-to-expectations. yep. cause the editing of the movie wasnt really great and it was like in parts. then the people they chose to act as the characters werent exactly that handsome. like most of the male were rather weird except for the guy that acted as mike newton and maybe emmett. hahas. yep. but since i loved the book, then like can tahan a bit lah. hahas. vivien was like - if people never read the book then just watch movie, sure think the movie is about ghosts. XD so, before we went lot 1, shopped at jp(the new building). at first, we thought the new jp super huge then like got a lot of things to see and shop, but like we walked for a while then nothing le, so we sian sian go eat bk for lunch. hahas. i super shuang, got bk at jp. yaye. then vivien decided to go lot 1 alr, but its only like 1.30pm , will reach lot 1 super early. so we decided to take bus there! =D i like taking buses. but that route quite ulu lah. so maybe i'll only take it when theres someone with me. hahas. yep. then reached lot 1, bought nachos for the movie and stuff. after movie, took train to jp, bought starbucks =DD and homed. great day today! =) yaye. i love vivien. hahas. i realise i've been meeting with vivien very often this hols. and i'm super sick of lot 1 already. went for doris aunt's wedding at night. its been such a long time since i've been to a wedding. =) but the dinner wasnt exactly satisfying, like the food were quite little so it wasnt really worth the money luh. however, the highlight of the wedding wasnt exactly the food, so i still had quite a great time talking with my cousins.=D actually i wasnt really myself at the wedding cause most of my relatives were there, then all of the aunty and uncle point here point there, then like some also ask ask who i am and stuff. like quite awkward. yep yep.

Yesterday left house myself to go macs to meet jiaying + vivien. the lot 1 one. hahas. i'm like going there a lot of times these days. yep yep. so i ate hotcakes with sausage cause i wanted to lengthen the time i take to eat. anw, jy and vivien arrived soon after and jy mentioned that olga work at quick bites in b1 so we went there to look for her. but haiz. she couldve take leave for the day cause we didnt see her there. then we headed to jy's house to take the bball cause we wanted to play there. but the court was like so full of ppl that we felt super intimidated. hahas. so we decided to go to vivien's house. imagine. we actually walked there. hahas.

it was the 11.55am show. hahas. ate hotdog bun for breakfast then vivien bought mashed potato and cheesy hotdog to eat while watching the show. its a very nice show leh. hahas. the doggy so cute=) 'bolt, Speak.' he became so shuai lor. ok. i'm mad, how can a dog be shuai. maybe he'll appear shuai to silky. bleh. anw, met jiaying after the movie, then we decided to travel all the way to expo cause vivien said that sam's working there. that sam like blind + deaf + oblivious to surroundings like that leh. she didnt see us even though we coughed and walked past her for at least 3 times! hahas, but she was quite touched lah and we achieved our purpose in giving her a surprise. heh. right. ate bk for lunch and left expo at 6 something. then we headed to raffles city shopping centre, ate soup spoon there. in all, today was another unplanned day. hahas, we just headed to wherever we felt like going. XD

went to vivo city after visiting ahma at AH. met phyllis there for dinner at Marche then we passed by the cinemas and decided to watch

four christmases! =)

yep.not bad a show, but the main point was to emphasize on how a family is important and not as quoted from the show " you cant spell family without telling a lie" ok. i dont really understand why they say that but i just happen to have a deeper impression of that line. hahas. and though its main point was to emphasize on the importance of a family, they had to show 4 different families' christmases. then it sort of became like something that is expected to happen/ come like the audience will expect the both of them to go to the next house and so on. however they added some comedy aspects into the show, so it made the show less boring, yeah. hahas. hope its not a spoiler. =P oops. tablet's running out of batt. heh.

ohmygoof. both jiaying and vivien blogged about today's happenings already. gosh.
so i arranged to meet jiaying at lot 1 macs(again!) at 8.15am today and apparently i realised i reached 15 mins early. heh. jiaying was late(again!) hahas. i'm using a lot of 'again' today. yep so i sort of predicted that too, and i went prepared =)) i'm so clever *beams* hahas. i played my nintendo while waiting for that late queen. then that 'queen' somemore argued that its because too early thats why she late and even guaranteed that tmr cause we are not meeting at such an early time so she'll sure be on time. HEHE. i dont believe. lets see then. XD i think i'm sick of fastfood too, jiaying! but i'm only sick of macs breakfast. yep then jiaying and i wandered around the unopened shops while waiting for vivien to come.. that girl went to her cousin's house to borrow badminton racket, in the end when she came, NO RACKET?! hahas. buay ta han. i then sort of enticed both of them to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua though i didnt even know what its about. and it was rather unexpectedly nice!! hehe. like very funny at parts yet touching at some, i esp like the friendships shown in the movie.

i stared at this post thing and it remained blank for like 2 hrs. hahas.

went to cck lot 1 this morning, reached at 8am then sat at macs and stoned. actually jiaying and i arranged to meet at 8, but i sort of predicted that jiaying will be late and she really reached at 8.30am. haiz. mei you shi jian guan nian de ren, quoted from melanie. =)

oh yah. i promised vivien not to sigh cause it harms health, so i must smile. hahas. going out of point :/

luckily mummy gave me their hashbrown from their macs meal because we were going to meet candice at her house and we were going to eat prata for breakfast with her. but in the end, jiaying and i reached amk hub super early, like, 9.45am? then candice was still asleep like a pig so we decided to be nice and let candice sleep more until 11plus. heh. so jiaying and i had to wander aimlessly around amk hub. we saw a tuition centre... they had their entire glass thing filled with boards that shows/says the people whose grades have improved since they joined the centre. jiaying and i were like ogling at it while searching for cres ones. hahas. then when we finally found 1 in that thingy, we realised that we dont know who she is. mad ass man. i spotted a few from my primary sch too=) but siao lor. my pri sch in jurong, their tuition centre in amk?! doesnt make sense to me. hahas. anw, we finally decided that the arcade was the best place to waste time, so we combed the entire amk hub and found a zone X at the topmost floor beside the cinemas. i was like, omg, it is like i was back in osaka then we were in the amusement parks with popcorn smell all over us. hahas. yep. we had fun in the arcade, killing weird people. i'm like super lousy with the house of the dead game cause i keep dying. hahas. but arcade quite waste money lah. and i still didnt get to play my drum game.

look. the arcade's so empty. i bet only at 9 plus am would the arcade be so empty =P

at 11plus am, jiaying and i decided to wake the PIG up so we left for candice's house. i swear jiaying is super crappy! she actually tried to be a sentosa person calling candice; it was v fake jiaying!! hahas. then we reached candice's house, bought prata, soya milk, you tiao, butterfly, otah. ALL FOR BREAKFAST. (meant to be) hahas. our breakfast was too filling that we skipped lunch XD ohmygod. westly is super uber cute! my gosh. and he actually 'jumped' me! hahas. it felt as though a little kid of approx 2 was hugging me around my legs. gave me quite a shock but he's so cute! =)) but he's dropping hair... and jiaying was pitying him. hahas. i told her that its normal but i think she's worried that westly will become bald from all the hair dropping.. i was speechless. hahas. gosh and westly's so ting hua, as compared to silky. yep

today was a really busy day cause jiaying and i continued to go for a choir concert by tjc, sajc, sass where we met mel at tjc. hahas. it was fun though, we saw, ms tham, mr tay, germaine, shiping! =) i dont have the group photo of me, jiaying, mel, shiping, mr tay and germaine though. its with ms ship. hahas. i'll upload a few of our photos though. some are in my phone and im simply too tired/lazy to go get it. will upload those that are in my cam first. hehe.

yep and i realised that i'm like addicted to tv! theres like so many shows on cable these days. my daily routine is like, 7pm - 終極一家, 8pm - 奸人堅, 9pm - 通天干探，10.30pm - 賭場風雲. hahas. everynight glued onto the tv until 12.05am. =P

my eyelids are trying to reach out to each other already. hhahas.

yep. im back and it has been exactly 9 months and 21 days since i last blogged. (i almost typed 9 moths. what moths. eeuuuu. i hate insectsXD)
update on recent events. firstly, Os are finally over and done with though im not thoroughly satisfied with one particular subject, but who cares? hahas. secondly, prom was fabulous! but i sort of regretted not getting someone to go out for a late night movie or kbox. hahas. (i feel outdated, saying all these). it feels as though Os have been over a long time ago but the fact is that it has just ended two weeks ago! like 11 days ago to be exact!

FINALLY 15!
went to sentosa with zhong jie, vivien, shijia and lynnette today.
in the morning, shijia soo considerate cause she scared i cannot bring the present all the way to sentosa, she even came all the way to my house to put present lehh. =DD thank you shijia!!!
then we went to je macs to have breakfast with vivien. then vivien late lehhhh....... shijia and i thought she overslept!! HAHA. though she never oversleep, but still late leh. anyway, after breakfast, we met lynnette at mrt station and we left for habour front.
took monorail into sentosa. and something diu lian happened!
there were 4 stations. sentosa station, future development, imbiah,beach station.
then we though we only at imbiah station, so we stayed in the monorail but wondered out if we're at beach station cause everybody alighting. then suddenly the train master was like "this is beach station!" we all like stared at each other for a moment then realised ohoh. must get down already. hahas. so malu.
then we went to the beach and th sun was hot! but the sea is so cooling! and we [tried] building sandcastles. but in the end became a whale hahas. and we so lame, took a seaweed and wrapped the whale and wrote RIP. hahas!
that was at fort siloso beach. then we took the tram to palawan because we wanted to see dolphins. but then the entry fee too $$$ already, so never go=(
yea. then we took the sky ride & luge. that was the worst and best thing.
worst - i cried. cause the sky ride was scary. i so scared!!!
best - the luge ride so FUNN!!!! yay. i am convinced that vivien and i are borne drivers. =D

after sentosa and everything, we went vivo, jie and lynn left earlier then after that i met mummy at vivo. ate dinner, bought cake went home. and i managed to blow the candles at 11.50pm on 28th dec 2007!!! <3

yeah. and i want to thank those that made my day.

yay yay. Exams are OVER.
recap of what happened yesterday after exams.
went to cine with lynn n Jie to meet vien cos we're gonna celebrate her birthday for her at Kbox.=D
ohyea. HAPPY sweet fiftheen VIVIEN! (sorry huh. a bit late de post) but anyway
we wanted give vivien a surprise. then Jie needs to buy vivien's birthday cake from cine.
but guess what? when we reach there it was too early. then no store open leh. haizz.
and then we saw our super hero! Mrs fields~! hahas. cos they have a brownie cake for sale.
then we asked the lady if we can write vivien's name on it. and she said can! and within 10 minutes somemore.
hahas. then we got vivien's msg saying she reached cine already. then we all scared will accidentally meet her. so we all bluff her that we're still in a cab, near school.
but the aunty do the brownie too slow already. so lynnette go up and accompany/ entertain vivien first. Hahas. then when we're waiting, vivien suddenly call us, ask why we so long. then that Jie lah. panic then anyhow gimme the phone. so i just bluff vivien.
That we're in the toilet and Jie was shitting! =DD hahhas. then she passed me her bag. budden we going up soon. HHAHAS. after that, Jie was about to CHOP me into 18pieces already.lalals/. hahas

had a photo shoot todae with namely, lynnette, hooi choo and someone called lavanese(dont know how to spell) - sec1. for a teacher's magazine. Contact i think. front cover okay! dont play play=) it was cool. damn cool.
we had to use a mini torchlight to draw. how cool is that?
and the camera can capture whatever we drawn! so nice right? love it man<3
i was told to draw a treble clef. nice right? but mirror image!!
my gawddd. took me some time to realise lynnette's meaning about my turn.
but the photographer(Richard Koh -Mr Koh) took lots of pictures. so i finally learnt it. =)
so proud of myself. yayayay so funnn. lurve it

smile so 僵硬 (stiffen) after so long. and so tired. but the pictures were nice.

he left today.

we held a farewell party for him.

we made a powerpoint presentation for him and played gan qing xian with it

he was so touched that he cried

a lot of my classmates cried too

we bought a volleyball for him and signed on it

he said that although he played volleyball for so many years, he never really did own one and that he was VERY TOUCHED<

the atmosphere was so saddening

it made a Happy Teachers' Dayinto a sad day with almost 99% of my class crying. i didnt.

i want to emphasize hor. not i dont want to cry or i'm unfeeling and stuff but i was busy concentrating on taking pics. cannot like that say me lor. i got some nice photos and jing dian ones ok!

anyway, i came home and read the slides with music again.

it was truly touching....

this video is also quite early de.... but i like it soo much... cos got xiezhi =) [obvious!~] they said the 三分鐘（san fen zhong - three minutes) together, one say in a lower pitch, one in a higher pitch. i think renfu said the higher pitch one (his voice easier to recognize) they so mo qi right? hehes.

wa seh.. ms goh's lit class was FAST like a.. bullet train! she gives us a lot of facts, points but she says everything too quickly and she gives us too little time to write them down! so in the end we copied till we felt giddy and wanted to faint.

hahas. i am so 怪。無緣無故type so big. but nvm. ppl who know me will know that i am SIAO over 56 AND 協志. i am so frustrated la. went to taka today but did not manage to buy Jstars magazine!!! cos today is out in taiwan but not in singapore!!! singapore must wait for a week or something like that... i am so sad. must wait for popular to sell. now is feb. popular only sell until nov or something like dat. but NVM. at least i can get it somehow.(beta than not able to buy it^^)
although i did not get Jstars, i managed to buy a Play magazine! with 56 as cover page and the rest on 偶像團體there's SHE,Kone,五月天，七朵花，183 Club and blah blah blah. anywayy i am only interested in the part bout 56. but nvm, i'll be a good person and bring my mag to sch tmr to let kristie see her SHE. hehes.

ytd choir, we just learnt the song 'To The Stars' den after that at 10.30, we were supposed to combine with the band for that piece. we learnt very fast leh!!
can finish learning until pg 9 or sumthing (i dont have my score with me now) within 1 hour or so. super fast learning!! ^^ proud of myself!! hahas..
my tablet is currently stolen by my mum to type her stuff. so sad i cannot watch my shaogong.. haish.
everytime also want me to lend her my tablet to use... cos my tablet is the only com in e hse that can translate stuff from english to chinese vice versa. den somemore she type so slow de. chinese words around 5 lines that are less than 10 words each took her around 2 hrs still havent type finish. tian! in the end, i help her type finish den after her stuff are done, she rushed me to go out. den when i say i havent do finish my stuff, she say 'i just now ask u to do right? i dont care, i want to go out now' tian. why cant she remember that i helped her complete her stuff den my hw is in my tablet dats why i cannot do... i HELPED her lehs... biang...
